I confirm that I will be taking part in the relay, and will carry the flame where I live, in Novosibirsk Region. I'm currently training to rise to the occaision. I need to be in good shape. I have skied at Krasnaya Polyana, so I have no doubt that Sochi is capable of staging the Winter Olympics. It is a great honor to take part in the Torch Relay at the Russian Olympics.

The main legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of 2014 in the city of Sochi will be the change in attitudes towards the Paralympic movement, not only from the state, but among the whole of our society, and generally improving attitudes within Russia towards people with various disabilities. Thanks to the participation in and winning of the bid for the Games in Sochi, we have raised the bar in attitudes towards people with disabilities in the community to a new level.

Thanks to the activities in preparation for the Games, we have managed to construct the new Bzugu sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 140 million cubic meters. The treatment technologies are being used in Russia for the second time. Only St. Petersburg has a treatment plant of this type.
