Russian Railways has the second largest network in the world with 85,500 km of track – 43,000 km of which is electrified. Russian Railways is Russia’s fourth largest company by revenue – over 41 billion USD for 2008 (according to IFRS report). It comprises 987 enterprises and 165 subsidiaries.
