Programs
As part of the Licensing Program, interested companies acquire the rights to manufacture and sell products bearing the marks of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi, including the logo of Sochi 2014 and ROC, as well as the mascots, icons, etc.
In all regions of Russia special Olympic shops of various formats will be opened, where licensed products will be available for purchase. The Sochi 2014 Licensees may sell their products via retail chains of their own, Olympic Shop Operators and also via the official Olympic Internet shop.
Superior quality and affordable pricing - those were the stipulations laid down on merchandise producers when they were brought on board as official licensees for the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee.
The rights to use trademarks are assigned to interested companies on a commercial basis, against payment of the License Fee, or royalty.
The Sochi 2014 Licensee will be selected on the basis of a contest. In order to participate in the contest, registration is required.
If the category of goods a company is interested in has been closed, and the Licensee has been already determined, the company's application may be reviewed for the granting of a sublicense. In order to acquire a sublicense, it is necessary to submit an application through the web site, or contact the Licensee directly.
Furthermore, if a prospective Licensee is interested in any other category, the application can be submitted in the "Other Category" section.
The contest is conducted for each category when it becomes available.
