Takeda Tsunekazu

NOC's Representative

Mr. Tsunekazu was born in 1 November 1947. Now he is a Chairman of Japanese Olympic Committee. He takes an active part in national sports development, working at the several national organizations. Mr. Tsunekazu is a vice- president of the Japan Equestrian Federation, president of the Japanese Olympic Association. At the Athens 2004 Olympic Games he was at the head of the Japanese delegation.
Mr. Tsunekazu is a vice-president of the Asian Olympic Council and Honored vice-president of the International Equestrian Federation. Mr. Tsunekazu also participates in IOC activities- he was a member of the IOC Evaluation Commission for the XXI Olympic Winter Games in 2010.
