German Novikov is a graduate of both the Far-Eastern High Nautical School for engineers and the Far-Eastern State Academy in economics and management. In 2002, he obtained a post-graduate degree in economic science from the Economic Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. German is now working towards the title of Doctor of Science. He has gained substantial experience in areas as diverse as banking, nautical navigation, and managing major international forums. Born in 1962 in the city of Vladivostok, German is a fan of oriental martial arts and yachting. He is married and has two children.
