Snowboarder, Olympic Medalist and Sochi 2014 Ambassador

“I am so happy to become a Sochi 2014 Ambassador. It is a great honor for me. I will do my best working together with the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee to promote Olympic Games and Olympic values.”

Throughout her career, Ekaterina Ilyukhina won numerous awards, including the European Cup, a bronze medal in the Junior World Cup and was three times champion of Russia on a snowboard parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom.

In 2012 Ekaterina took part in the Olympic torch relay at the XXX Olympic Games in London. On 7th October 2012, Ekaterina Ilyukhina was honored Sochi 2014 Ambassador during the official presentation of the Sochi 2014 Olympic torch route.
