Bobsledder, Olympic Medalist and Sochi 2014 Ambassador

Alexey Voevoda, a Russian athlete, was born in Sochi where he lives now. As a member of the Russian bobsleigh team, he won a silver medal in four-man runs at the Olympic Games in Turin and a bronze medal with Alexander Zubkov, another Ambassador of the Sochi 2014 Games, in two-man races at the Vancouver Games in 2010. Alexey is a three-time world champion in arm-wrestling. He leads a healthy life and takes part in projects of social importance that promote healthy lifestyles.
