Marking 100 days to go before the Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russian company "Uralsky Zavod Protivogololodnych Materialov" (Ural Plant of deicing Materials) has become a marketing partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, and also a Supporting Partner of the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Torch Relay.
According to the agreement, funds allocated by "Uralsky Zavod Protivogololodnych Materialov" will be directed towards the preparation and staging of the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games at the highest level.
After signing Paralympic partnership agreements, Olympic TOP Partners, like National Olympic Partners, become National Partners of the Paralympic Games, and receive the right to use Paralympic Games marks in Russia for the period from the date of signing of the agreement until December 31, 2014, and the right to use the RPC emblem and association with the Russian Paralympic team until December 31, 2016.
The signed agreement will contribute to the strengthening and development of the Paralympic Movement in Russia, enhancing the prestige of Russian Paralympic sport in the international arena and promoting the ideas of rehabilitation of people with disabilities through sports, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle in general.
The total revenue of the Paralympic Organizing Committee from the Marketing Program is more than $90 million, which is record for Paralympic marketing programs.
The President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko, noted:

Deicing reagents offered by the company, among the cleanest in the world, are fully consistent with one of the main strategic objectives of the Organizing Committee: Games in harmony with nature."

Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games
The Sochi 2014 sports program will be a record-breaking event. During the Games, 72 sets of medals will be contested in 5 different sports including cross-country skiing, biathlon, ice sledge hockey, wheelchair curling and Alpine skiing. Para-snowboard will be presented for the first time at the Paralympic Winter Games. A total of 1,650 Paralympic athletes and team members from more than 45 countries, will attend the Paralympic Games.

Their financial contributions, the latest technologies and designs, and, most importantly, the personal involvement of executives and ordinary employees alike - all these factors will become parts of anintegral success of the 2014 Games.
Since the launch of the program in 2009, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee has attracted more than 1.3 billion dollars in financial investments, over 3 times the Bid Book commitment. This is 1.5times greater than the earnings of the Vancouver Games Organizing Committee throughout its entire existence. As such, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee became the most successful Winter Games Organizing Committee in the history of the Olympic movement.
The right to use Olympic and Paralympic Marks in Russia is held only by the TOP Partners of the IOC and IPC, the Sochi 2014 National Partners at all tiers, as well as companies which have signed a corresponding licensing agreement with the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee. This regulatory provision is envisaged in the "Olympic Law" Code (Federal Law No. 310-ФЗ of 12/01/2007).
IOC TOP Partners are the companies which have entered into an agreement with the IOC for several four-year cycles. The Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee also offers several tiers of the National Partnership Program, signing agreements with its partner-companies for the right to be associated with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi on Russian territory.
