The company BOSCO Sport and Sochi Administration have this week signed a sponsorship Memorandum. Under the agreement, BOSCO is set to become the official kit supplier for Sochi 2014 volunteers during the Test Events in 2011/2012 and have also signed a long-term collaboration deal with the city Administration. The Mayor of Sochi, Anatoly Pakhomov, and the head of the BOSCO group, Mikhail Kusnirovich, signed the agreement in the presence of the Chairman of the International Olympic Committee's Coordination Commission, Jean Claude Killy, the Executive Director of the Olympic Games, Gilbert Felli, and the President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko.
"The volunteers at Sochi will be the pride of the entire nation. They were selected from hundreds of thousands of applicants for their dedication and loyalty. These volunteers will play a key role in the success of the Games and BOSCO is certainly going to assist us in this," said Sochi's Mayor, Anatoly Pakhomov.
This year, the volunteers will receive their first 500 clothing outfits, which will include a skiing outfit, trousers, a polo shirt, t-shirt, fleece, baseball cap, woolly hat and sports bag.
