A grand music concert will take place as part of the RED ROCKS project on Sakharov Square in Barnaul. The event is part of the Sochi 2014 Cultural Olympiad and is sponsored by Sberbank, a Games General Partner.
The RED ROCKS Music Festival launched on April 27, 2013 in Sochi, and is touring across 17 cities in Russia, including Astrakhan, Chita, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Ulan-Ude, Kemerovo, Barnaul, Chelyabinsk, Izhevsk, Cherepovets, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Togliatti, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula and Lipetsk. This is the second year the Red Rocks festival has been held in Russia.
This year’s RED ROCKS tour continues to delight music fans with new performances. The young Samara indie rock group, Bajinda Behind the Enemy Lines, will perform for Barnaul's residents and guests, and the charismatic rocker Nayk Borzov will delight concertgoers with his musical hits. A performance by one of the most popular Ukrainian groups, Okean Elzy, will close out the concert.
Everybody has the opportunity to be a part of Olympic history and enjoy the best of contemporary music, as the festival is open to the public. Guests of the RED ROCKS project can not only expect a grand musical festival, but they will also have the opportunity to sing the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games Fan Anthem with the performers. This song was created with the participation of guests fr om last year's RED ROCKS tour, which included music fans, sports enthusiasts and world-famous musicians.

The RED ROCKS festival tour across 17 cities in Russia will end in mid-September 2013. The tour route was developed by organizers to cover all regions of the country and deliver contemporary music to all.

The Sochi 2014 Cultural Olympiad is a unique project by the organizers of the Games, offering the best cultural events in the country. The RED ROCKS festival is a global music project aimed at attracting as many Russians as possible to the Olympic movement.
The idea for the project originated in the mountains of the Krasnaya Polyana wh ere the long-awaited Olympic competitions will take place in 2014.
The first festival, which became a real cultural event for the region's tourists and residents, took place in 2011 at 1500 meters above sea level and was sponsored by Sberbank. This unique festival, in which well-known artists participate, attracts even more attention to the host city of the Sochi 2014 Games.
Having achieved the status of a participant in the Cultural Olympiad, RED ROCKS has continued to develop, beginning a large-scale concert tour of 40 Russian cities in 2012 with the aim of creating the Sochi 2014 Fan Anthem.
RED ROCKS did not bypass the great events of the summer of 2012. It held concerts in support of the Russian Olympic team in London.
RED ROCKS allows virtually everyone to leave their mark on the Games: During each concert fans participate in recording the Fan Anthem of the Olympic Games of 2014, which will become the main song performed in the sports venues wh ere the upcoming competitions will be held.
