Panasonic, the worldwide Olympic Partner and a global leader in the development and engineering of electronic technologies, has been named the Sochi 2014 Official Supplier in the "Home Appliances" category.
The agreement was signed by the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee President and CEO, Dmitry Chernyshenko, Senior Managing Executive Officer of Panasonic Corporation Takumi Kajisha and General Director of Panasonic Rus Ltd, Shigeo Suzuki. Under the agreement, Panasonic will supply the Sochi 2014 Olympic venues, Olympic Villages and the Organizing Committee’s offices in the Olympic Park with about 5,000 household appliances.
Panasonic will provide a range of household appliances that will ensure a comfortable work and relaxation environment for everybody involved in the Games. This includes kettles, coffee-machines, microwave ovens, irons, refrigerators, washing machines and thermo pots.
General Director of Panasonic Rus Ltd. Shigeo Suzuki noted:
