Notes to the Editor
The Live Site Sochi 2014 project is an initiative that has led the countdown since the Games in Sydney in 2000, and has rapidly gained popularity with sports lovers. Similar projects were implemented in Salt Lake City, Turin, Beijing, Vancouver and London.
Russian spectators already had the opportunity to visit the Live Sites Sochi 2014 in the summer of 2012 as part of the broadcast of the Olympic Games in London. Russians supported their athletes and participated in a diverse cultural program organized on the stages of the Live Sites Sochi 2014.
