On February 8th the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee opened the Lost Property Claim Center. The facility will be open from 8:00 am to 01:00 am during the Olympic Games (from 8 to 24 February) and Paralympic Games (from 8 to 17 March), and during the closing ceremony of the Games (February 23 and March 16) it will be open from 16:00 to 01:00. The center is located at the West bus station, near the entrance to the Olympic Park, to the right of the Olympic Park railway station exit.
The Lost Property Claim Center was organized by the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee with the aim of returning lost items to spectators in the days following the discovery of the loss. Spectators who suffer any theft of their personal belongings, can apply at the information desk at the competition venue on the day of discovering the item is missing. If an item is found missing the next day or later they will need to go to the Lost and Found Center at the West bus station or call 8 38 47 00 211.
What you should do if you discover you have lost something:
1. Refer to the information desk located at the competition venue, the Fisht Olympic Stadium or in the Olympic Park. There are location signs to help you find it.
2. A volunteer at the Information desk will ask you to fill in an application form detailing the missing items. You will also need to enter your contact details.
3. If the lost item turns up you will be contacted by telephone on the number specified by you on the application form. You can also return to the information desk during the day to see if the lost item has turned up.
4. If you have already left the venue when you discover an item is lost, you should call the Lost and Found Center on 8 938 47 00 211. The Lost and Found Center is located at the West bus station, near the entrance to the Olympic Park, to the right of the Olympic Park railway station exit. If a lost item turns up at the Lost and Found Center the owner of the item needs to personally return to the Center to collect it.
