It came as a pleasant surprise to me to be named an Ambassador for the Cultural Olympiad. The Olympic Games is one of the few international-level events which unites people of different nationalities, interests and beliefs. I was at the Olympic Games in Calgary when our athletes won a number of gold medals; the atmosphere was stunning. At the last Games in Vancouver, I really liked the fact that there was a project like the "Russky Dom of "Sochi 2014"," where anyone who wanted to could come and become acquainted with Russia and its culture. As an Ambassador of the Sochi 2014 Cultural Olympiad, I would like to believe that as a result of this project, new talents will appear, real stars, of whom there are not many right now, unfortunately
