I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Organizing Committee and Visa for my new status as Sochi 2014 Ambassador and member of Team Visa 2010. I will do everything possible to meet the expectations of the upcoming Games. I am particularly pleased that because of my status, those abroad will know that there are sleighs in Russia! Moreover, Russia has its own heroes. I am pleased to see my banners in Vancouver, not because they picture me, but because they represent a Russian luger. For the same reason, I am pleased to be an Ambassador of the Games in Sochi. This is a historic event for the entire country and a great opportunity to show the younger generation that we have much to be proud of. For my part, I will try to be a worthy example and do everything possible to make the sled just as popular as skates and skis.
