Kaspersky Lab Named Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee Anti-virus Software Supplier
Kaspersky Lab has been chosen as the supplier to the Sochi 2014 Olympic winter Games in the category "Anti-virus software".
The agreement has been signed by the President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko, and the CEO of Kaspersky Lab, Evgeny Kaspersky. As part of the partnership, Kaspersky Lab will provide the Sochi 2014 Games organizers with a comprehensive anti-virus protection solution. The Kaspersky Total Space Security product protects workstations, mobile devices, files, email servers and the shared servers and Internet gateways used by the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee's infrastructure against all types of malware.
In addition, the company's experts are going to provide operational services and technical support for the security system on a 24/7 basis and conduct constant monitoring, making it possible to quickly identify and block all new online threats.
The President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko, said:
